Located in the picturesque village of Thuprakhurd, Sanjoe Public School has been a beacon of quality
education since its inception in 2011. Founded with a vision to provide holistic education to the children of Thuprakhurd and surrounding areas, the school has grown from strength to strength over the years.

The school’s start was accompanied by a small group of students and a dedicated team of SABS Sisters and teachers led by Sr. Ann Mary Ariappillil.

Early Years (2011-2025)

In its formative years, Sanjoe Public School followed the Telangana state board curriculum, laying a strong foundation in academics, extracurricular activities, and character development. The school’s dedicated faculty and staff worked tirelessly to create a nurturing environment that fostered the growth of its students.

First Batch of SSC Board Examination

The academic year 2015-2016 was a landmark year for Sanjoe Public School, as its first batch of students appeared for the SSC board examination. The school’s faculty and staff had worked diligently to prepare the students for this milestone, and their hard work paid off with impressive results.

The CBSE Era (2015-Present)

In 2025, Sanjoe Public School embarked on a new journey, transitioning from the state board to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This significant milestone marked a new chapter in the school’s history, as it aligned itself with the national curriculum and standards.

The Main Objectives of the School

  • To help students achieve self-discipline, cultivate good habits and be open to the Divine Will.
  • To train students in clarity of thought and accuracy of expression and to develop the leadership qualities in them.
  • To cultivate a healthy modern outlook among the students while drawing inspiration from ancient cultural heritage and tradition.
  • To inculcate in the students a sense of responsibility to the nation and to encourage their involvement in the task of building up a new India, free from exploitation, injustice, corruption, ignorance, poverty and misery.

 

Admission, Promotion and Withdrawal

  • Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form duly signed by the pupil’s parent along with Birth certificate, a passport size photo and a photocopy of Adhar, both pupil’s and parents.
  • Students coming from other schools must produce their transfer certificate and progress report along with the application.
  • Promotion to the higher classes is based on the student’s performance in all the examinations conducted during the academic year.
  • A student who is detained twice in the same standard will not be allowed to continue in the school.
  • Continuous absence for 15 days without leave will be considered equivalent to withdrawal, and the student’s name will be removed from the roll.
  • Withdrawal notice must be given in writing by the parent.
  • Transfer Certificates will be issued only when the parent/guardian applies for it, after all dues are cleared.
  • Those who apply for TC should submit the application 15 days in advance and pay the fees due till the date of application.
  • No TC will be issued until all dues are fully paid and all library books are returned.
  • Promotion of students with unpaid dues will be withheld.

 

Examinations and Promotion

  • Periodic tests and examinations assess students’ academic performance and help improve study habits. Monthly tests, pre-mid-term, mid-term, post mid-term, and annual exams are conducted.
  • Minimum of 50% in each subject is required for promotion.
  • Absence in exams is treated as zero; no retests will be conducted.
  • Silence must be maintained in exam halls; no lending or borrowing of items is allowed.
  • Malpractice may result in suspension or expulsion depending on the severity.
  • Parents must attend result discussions and sign progress reports; failure to do so may impact admission.
  • Promotion depends on test scores, attendance, homework, discipline, and internal assessments.
  • 90% attendance is mandatory for promotion.
  • Students who don’t secure promotion may have to leave; the Principal’s decision is final.
  • No exams will be held outside the scheduled dates.

 

Discipline

  • Latecomers must meet the Principal before entering class.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory.
  • Leave must be requested in writing by parents and recorded in the diary.
  • The school is not responsible for lost items; belongings should be labeled.
  • Buying food from outside the school is not allowed.
  • Students should always maintain behavior that brings honor to their school and family.
  • Parents must ensure students arrive before the first bell.

 

Fee Regulations

  • The school fee is payable for the full year in June or in three installments.
  • A late fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged after the 10th; the fine will double thereafter.
  • Fee receipts must be retained and shown when required.
  • Full-year fee is required for late admissions or withdrawals.

Parents are expected to cooperate with the school authorities in maintaining regularity and discipline. Below are some important suggestions:

  • Supervise home study and ensure that children revise what was taught during the day.
  • Meet class teachers occasionally to discuss the progress of their children.
  • Avoid criticism of teachers in front of your children, as it may affect their respect for the staff.
  • Ensure your children are punctual and come to school in uniform.
  • Ensure proper etiquette, such as greeting teachers and maintaining good manners.
